Posted in Commercial Projects 6 years ago

A project Advance Ready Mix has been working on for the past six months has hit an exciting milestone and was featured in an article by Business First of Louisville. The University Of Louisville’s Pediatrics Medical Office Building made its final pour and the final beam was set to top off the 171,000 sq ft facility. The construction manager on the project is Messer Construction, however Advance was working for Whittenberg Construction, the concrete contractor. The project was built with a post-tension concrete frame and consisted of approximately 6500 cubic yards of concrete. Most of the concrete on the project was 5000 psi and required 24 hour early strengths to tension the reinforcing cables and keep the project on schedule.
